"Away with Our Sorrow and Fear," Charles Wesley

Read a line in this hymn by Wesley this morning that I thought well worth sharing.  How much do we really think about what Calvin called the "blessedness of our future life?"  If you are like me, not nearly enough.

"The saints in His presence receive
Their great and eternal reward;
In Jesus, in Heaven they live,
They reign in the smile of their Lord:
The flame of angelical love
Is kindled at Jesus’ face;
And all the enjoyment above
Consists in the rapturous gaze."
