Campus Minister

Originally from Sumter, SC, Sammy Rhodes graduated from the University of South Carolina where he met his wife, Alyssa.  They now have three children: two daughters, Jayne Mac and Eloise, and one son, Asher.

Sammy received his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary (Charlotte), and was ordained as a minister of the gospel in the PCA in December of 2006 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Statesboro, GA.    

He and his family have been at Georgia Southern since August of 2006.  And they have greatly enjoyed their time in Statesboro so far, especially the students.     

Sammy enjoys reading, good quotes, thoughtful movies, indie music, Clemson football, pick-up basketball, and cooking/grilling.  Also a bit of a bbq lover.  He would love to do any of the above with you!  Just contact him: srhodes@ruf.org OR  912.481.9702.
