Campus Minister

Originally from Sumter, SC, Sammy Rhodes graduated from the University of South Carolina where he met his wife, Alyssa.  Sammy received his Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary (Charlotte), and was ordained as a minister of the gospel in the PCA in December of 2006.  They now have three children: two daughters, Jayne Mac (3) and Eloise (newborn), and one son, Asher (almost 2). Oh the ups and downs of having 3 children under age 3!  He and his family have been at Georgia Southern since August of 2006.  Sammy enjoys reading good books (especially the old ones), listening to indie music (the more obscure the better!), playing pick-up basketball,and watching Clemson Tigers football (yes, I even cheered for Clemson while at USC).
